The Basler Electric KR7FFX Static Voltage Regulator is a solid-state excitation control device designed to regulate generator terminal voltage by controlling the exciter field current. It is part of the Basler KR Series voltage regulator family and is commonly used in synchronous generators, industrial power systems, and marine generator applications.

The KR7FFX provides stable voltage regulation with built-in electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering, underfrequency roll-off characteristics, and adjustable voltage/stability controls. It is designed for single-phase input power systems and provides up to 125 VDC field output at 3.5 A continuous current, supporting reliable excitation control for medium-sized generator systems.

The unit supports multiple sensing voltage ranges and can be integrated with accessories such as VAR/power factor controllers, line drop compensators, and excitation limiting devices. The KR7FFX has been discontinued by Basler, with replacement options available through technical support.
